Welcome to 2012

Just a quick report, booked a seat at the new LNP office at Beaudesert and dinner at the RSL.  Unfortunately I was delayed because of log books by 2 hours, but Ken Wilkie was able to take my place which was a much better option anyway.  I have read Ricks survey for the 20 metre ruling, I will get near a printer and fill one out over the next week.

I have had to ring Queensland Transport Townsville division on the new message board for road conditions about the wording and what it means when you generate a road conditions report. The officer/public servant has had the same concerns and could not explain what the wording means, she has put it in her tray to ask the person who edits the conditions when he comes back from holidays.  She assures me she will call me and explain it, we will see.

I would like to wish each and every member and their families are very safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Look forward to working with all, it’s good fun.  So forget about the trucks think about your families and mates and see you at the frontline next year.
